Chongqing Ivy art installation - House Dream
The installation is located in the central square of a creative industrial park in Chongqing. Serving as a hub for pedestrian gathering and evacuation, the team sought to create a high point where each axis of the landscape can be viewed, and hoped to bring an interactive installation with local culture, a sense of story and fireworks.
We abstracted the traditional stilted houses in Chongqing to form a soaring house. Translucent materials were used to wrap the interior of the house, and the chimney at the top was treated with water mist to form smoke rising slowly. Under the interpretation of sunlight and night lights, a dream-like picture of a sky house was formed.
